Ok, for the record please note bragging is not something I like to do, this page is no exception. The reason this page even exists is every now and then some people like to get a feel for what other people have said regarding yours truly. Therefore in an effort to accommodate that request below are some unsolicited and unedited notes I have been fortunate to receive from people throughout the years –on the days when the planets aligned perfectly. 🙂
So, here goes nothing….
Mister Dave!! Thank you so much!!! You truly do know what you are talking about!!! And you know what, I took an Excel class the other week, and she could not hold a candle compared to you in the way you were teaching us!! She did that…”start on chapter 1 page 1”
Anyway, thank you again!!

Ginny, I received PowerPoint training via webinar from Dave. It was entertaining and effective. The training “stuck” thanks to Dave’s delivery. I think Dave would be a good person for you to meet…You may have a shot at Dave before anyone else!

“Best remote class I have taken. The instructors data was easy to view and I was able to see his updates instantaneously. Dave spoke clearly and professionally and provided great examples. I already had a lot of Excel experience but this class followed the course outline well and I was able to learn some new things in Excel that will help me create efficiencies at work.”

Dave,
My apologies for being rude and not responding back! It’s been a crazy work week. Yes, I did receive your email and it was exactly what I needed. Very, very much appreciate your time and help!!
I’m thinking I need to find time to get into the next level of Excel training to really be effective.
You were a great instructor!
Thanks again. Have a great evening. Stay warm.
Regards,
Cathy
Dave,
You class was great and I am looking forward to signing up for more classes in the future J I ended up converting the PDf to JPEG which was much more manageable. As for the PowerPoint presentation, I still have the one that I worked on. I appreciate your help. Thanks!
Regards,
Margarita
Dear Dave,
Thank you so much for taking the time to speak with me and my colleagues today. The information was very relevant to how we utilize excel in our office, and I found it very valuable.
Dave,
Thanks for the information I will try to see if this is what I needed once I am done with the billing this month.
You did an excellent job on the class and it was very helpful.
Hope you have a great day.
Thank you so much Dave.
I really tried to hover and it didn’t work so I clicked insert tab, new page and it worked. I appreciate you giving me 2 options. I took Visio part two and requested you, but was told the instructor had not yet been assigned.
YOU have a real teaching talent and made the material easy to understand. I enjoy your teaching style. Thank you again for making yourself available to answer my questions/problems.
Have a wonderful day!
Dave,
Recently took the class offered on December 4th. Thank you for teaching the class, found it to be very informative and learned several things. I’ve been using Publisher since I ’ve been working for the Diocese. I’ll be utilizing Publisher for the next event coming up in February. If I have any further questions, I hope to be able to contact you either this year or in 2015. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Gina
Hi Dave,
I really enjoyed class yesterday. When I go to the office this morning I redid the organizational chart for my agency. It worked well. I guess I am not going to use the wizard since there is a lot of customization I had to do and wizard is not custom friendly.

Hi Dave,
Just wanted to let you know what a great job you did in the Intro to Access 2007 class this week. I learned so much from you and your explanations, examples, and situational references were tremendously helpful! Made all this make sense in real world application. I am in the “Advanced” class now and I know all he is saying based on your instruction from the last two days. This guy is going through the book, every example, every step (bolding, changing text fonts, etc…). He’s killing me. You should teach all the classes! Thanks for everything!
Maureen
Dear Dave:
I am so grateful to you! Your tabs lesson parts 1 and 2 was invaluable and I totally understand now! I didn’t realize that you set them all up first with text then tab then enter or $ amount and then select all the info and set the type of tab you want including decimal or leader.
I feel so much better know as I could not understand this from the book or from another training book without your wonderful help! You are such a superb teacher and I cannot thank you enough for your above and beyond help and creating a personalized lesson for me. 🙂 I really am at a loss as to how to thank you! Please know that your student is so grateful! This clears up all my tab questions.
As I continue through the book – if I run into anything I truly can’t get on my own- I’ll be sure to ask for your kind help again.
My next level Word 2007 class (intermediate level 2) is next Friday Jan 16- I hope am fortunate enough to have you as my teacher! Have a wonderful vacation and please know how important your talents and patience are to me and many others.
Dave
You are awesome – and certainly have awesome follow-up!! I never expected my own personalized video of instructions on my date issue!! Thank you so very much!! It is interesting as in my current and past roles, I have used excel for YEARS – however, it has been a “teach yourself as you go” type deal, and I have a team that builds dashboards off our P&L’s each month, builds out all our key metrics, etc., BUT, I wanted to start from ground zero on my own, and take some formal excel training courses just to build my skills in Excel.
I have to do VLOOKUP’s, etc. when I do my monthly accruals each month, but also recognize there is a lot I do NOT know how to do in Excel, and I want to become more productive. I did learn several things in your class I did not know, and have since already taken the Excel 2013 Intermediate class. I will play around with the data files a bit, then will take the next level course(s). I hope to be a wiz at Excel when all is said and done!!!
Anyway – It was great “meeting” you during class, and I do really appreciate your follow-up to my question! I now know how to do the dates with periods!! I hope our path’s cross again one of these days – or that I have you as an instructor again one of these days on a future course!! Have a great weekend, Dave!
